Education for Sustainability is a small social enterprise that is supported by contractors and some brilliant unpaid volunteers.

A key priority at the moment is to develop a fundraising strategy that will enable us to scale in 2023 and 2024 to new heights, and get as many schools and children trained on sustainability for them to start making an immediate and local environmental impact themselves.

To do this we need funds raised from direct contributions along with corporate donations and sponsorship opportunities. We also hope that along the way, we may cross paths with some teachers (or former teachers) who may like to get involved and join our team, to get the message out to as many kids as possible.

If you are a teacher, (or retired teacher) and would like to volunteer teaching children about sustainability, then please click here

In order to get where we want to be, we also need the help and support of others who may want to get involved, but for whom teaching doesn’t interest them.

For example:

  • We are looking to speak directly to corporate businesses and to local county councils, with the aim of them sponsoring some local schools in their area with training, so if you have telesales or B2B experience, and would be happy to give us an hour here and there we would be delighted to hear from you.
  • Website design & content management – it’s obvious, isn’t it? Our website is lovely, but could always do with a spruce up and ongoing development.
  • Press/PR/Media Relations. – we want to get our message out to as many people as possible. If you have the knack, or even the ear of any journalists and would like to help us out and support us with press releases etc, please get in touch.

Think you can help get stuck in and volunteer?
